We bought a new car, so of course we had to have a road trip. We drove down to Abilene and met met both of our parents for dinner, then drove to Cisco, so Charlie could show me where he grew up and introduce me to some of his family. This is my first trip out of Lubbock, since I moved here two years ago. It was so much fun.
This is my mother Pat and my step-father Wayne. I haven't seen them in over two years. Wayne said he is growing the beard so he can play Santa Clause this year in their new town of Winter, Texas.
This is Mom and her handicap assistance dog "Z". "Z" was thirsty.

You need to take more trips! I have never been to Texas, but I hear it has quite a range of landscapes. glad you had a good time--Sounds like a busy weekend :)
